I Live for Moments Like These

This weekend we had our friend Tim over. He is such a great friend and we miss the guy. So he came to visit. We had a good family weekend that was looooong over due. Saturday we went and saw Pixar's UP in 3D. It was very good but such a sad story line but we enjoyed it. Then today we went on a little family adventure up a little valley that follows Gibson Creek here in Pocatello. The kids did great and Spencer was happy to get the time to take pictures. Lukas kept stopping and picking flowers for mommy (brownie points at least I am training him well, girls like flowers!!) MaKynzee liked to do whatever Lukas was. We had fun and Spencer got some amazing shots of the kids and I!
Spencer and his photography skills at work. Can you see the two caterpillar on the petals?
MaKynzee with her "pretty." Yes it is pretty but is also a flower sweetheart.
Lukas and I were talking about how Heavenly Father created all this cause he loves us and I was telling him how much mommy loved him and Spencer got this shot when we were talking I guess.
Me and my boy...I love you so much it hurts Handsome MAN!
MaKynzee and I (I am totally going to blow up this picture, it is my absolute favorite EVER!!!!)
Joy is defined by moments like these!
Kynzee and I trying to blow away the dandelion.
I am so very grateful for Spencer's talent in photography. We get such beautiful pictures and it helps us to get out and be active. Anyway as you can see it was picture perfect day!

WAHOO Spencer!!

Well we are really excited around here. Spencer got the internship he wanted with Premier Technologies!! He is going to be in charge of their IT issues/ problems and gets to play with Dell servers so he is super excited. He is going to be paid so that makes us even happier! The IT guy said that they were super impressed with him and his knowledge so that was a HUGE boost for Sir. I love you Babe! Congrats.
PS: Still no word on the program but we are ok either way at this point.

On the "MOVE" (yes AGAIN)

Well we are moving again. Just down the street but it is cheaper, ya know. It is so hard to just find a good place to live. This new place has 3 bedrooms so Spencer will have his "office" back and some place to run away. I am really excited. The kids love it because it is a basement apartment and so there are no stairs. It is all one floor. SO here we go again....boxes, that is all I dream about boxes and more boxes.

Yellowstone Fun Part 2

Lukas watching the falls. I can't tell if he is bored or in "ah" Either way he is too cute.

MaKynzee at one of the springs. Looking pretty cute if you ask me!

We FINALLY did smores! I was so happy. It is my favorite thing about camping! The kids loved it too.

MaKynzee tried to use Luke's head to cook her marshmallows because the fire was "too hot" I guess Lukas is a "hot head." We were laughing pretty good! She is so funny!

This is right by the Mammoth entrance. Lukas kept calling it a volcano. A woman asked him what he saw when we were coming off the path. He said, "A HUGE white volcano. Watch out." I couldn't help but laugh and the two women where from Asia and just stared, I don't know but I am pretty sure they took him for his word, LOL!

Old Faithful

Kynzee was too freaked out by what was happening behind her so Spencer held her. They look so cute together though! Ahhhhh!
And finally my favorite picture of MaKynzee. I like to call it...
Our Little Mermaid!

Memorial Day, Soccer State Cup

So what do you do on Memorial Day? You go watch people you don't know play soccer. Yeah we just can't get enough soccer! My really good friend Kendra had a friend playing in the State Cup so we decided to go see her championship game and then we stayed to watch the U18 boys championship game. What can I say I like the guys because they like to beat the crap out of each other and look good doing it. So Spencer ofcourse grabbed the camera and got some shots.

Our internet is not working so I will add pictures later, sorry :(

Don't you worry I will be putting up more pictures from Yellowstone just can't get them yet BUT anyway we had a great day! It made me miss playing so bad I wanted to cry or jump in and play or something!

Yellowstone Adventures

So we went to Yellowstone for a little family outing. We really went so Spencer could get out his frustrations about being locked in the house with two kids and so he could take some more AMAZING photos. So off we went. The kids were so excited about camping again. We found a little camp site outside the north entrance. It was gorgeous! We were out in the middle of no where with bison in the camp...perfect! Anyway we stayed in Yellowstone and then moved down to Jenny Lake by Grand Teton, it was picture perfect. The trip was a success... Spencer got to see his bear and get amazing pictures. The kids loved the other animals goats, bison, elk, giant bees, golden eagle...that's right mom GIANT bees!!! We saw lots did lots and had fun! I'll blog more about it with more pictures later. Life is just too busy.

...

Spencer's amazing night shot. I love it!

...

Wee little bear...we were 15ft away! It crossed the road in front of our van, too cool!
Once again fabulous photography.

The GORGEOUS Jenny Lake at 6am, Spencer had a little less sleep getting these amazing photos but it was worth it! Spencer is getting SO good.

Mother's Day and End of a FUNtastic Soccer Season

For Mother's Day we went to Soda Springs to see Mom Bagshaw. She has been pretty sick so we wanted to cheer her up. The kids of course wanted Grandma to read books like always!

Then we opened presents. We got Grandma Bagshaw a willow tree...one of her favorite things. I think the smile says it all!
She was pretty happy, especially since she got to talk to her baby, Elder Justin Bagshaw. We even got to sneak in a few minutes; it was so nice to talk to him.
Then I opened my present... A CAMERA!! It is really nice, more than I probably need and pretty intimidating to me but still really exciting. THANKS BABE!
End of a Soccer Season

The kids eating their pizza. They are all just too cute.

Brookelyn getting her trophy and award for "Natural Ability." She is the daughter of a killer soccer player. The coach even mentioned she probably got her skills from her mother, how true!

Lukas getting his trophy and award for "Cheerfulness." It is the truth he is always pretty happy kid.

Tribute to My Mother

A Mother's Love

A Mother's love is something that no on can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,

It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . .

It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . .

It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . .

It is far beyond defining,it defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . .

A many splendoured miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

BIG MOMMA
MOM- I love the way.....
You lip the words I say as I say them.
You kick your foot on the sidelines of my soccer games.
You still hold my hair back when I am sick.
You are the Greatest Grandma.
You give the best hugs and kisses.
You empower me to be someone better.
You let me dream and help those dreams come true.
You love your family and put them first.
You love the Lord and taught us to love Him too.
YOU are an amazing woman!
YOU are truly loved!
MOM- YOU ARE the MOTHER of all ETERNITY

I love you so much, you sacrifice so much for our family and I am eternally in debt to you. Thank YOU for being YOU! I love you Momma, MY BIG MOMMA! (For all of you who don't know my mother, she is a petite woman and I gave her the name BIG MOMMA because she has given BIG sacrifices, BIG time, BIG hugs, BIG kisses and most important BIG LOVE! She is MY Big Momma!)

My Fun Crazy Cute Kids!

Our bedroom door has been broken for a LOOOOONG time. I kept waiting and asking Spencer to fix it but that never happened. Well I broke out my tools and did it myself. Of course I needed someone to hold the door so Lukas proudly held the door for me. The door got fixed and Lukas promptly went and got his tools and said "I'll fix it for you. I go fix my bed. You watch mom, I'll do it." He went and put his tool belt on and went to work on the bed. WAY cute. I love the seriousness that he had when he was "fixing" the bed. I told him it was time to eat and he said, "When I fix it I can eat but not now." Too funny...

My New Mr. Fix-IT

MaKynzee got herself all decked out in the hard hat, necklace and sunglasses. She was all girl and said, "Hurry you need to fix my stuff too." Yep that's my girl but I hope I can teach her the stuff my Dad taught me...NO FEAR, tools just aren't for guys!

The Jorgensen's were over and MaKynzee decided that Uncle Arik needed his hair done! Oh dear, we all LOVED this. Uncle Arik "loves" the pampering too can't you see??? GRRRRR....

I love my babies, they keep me entertained and help keep me happy. I just hope that THEY are happy and I am being the mother they deserve!

Check out our new hair dos below!

Hair DOS! Chop, Chop!

SO I was SO sick of my hair so I went and chop, chop!
Before....

The back to see how long it was...
And then...there was JOY!!!
I LOVE it. I feel pounds lighter and I think it suits my personality better!
Lukas needed a cut too...so mommy got out the scissors.
Looks cute but his hair is thick and he wakes up sweating so....
CHOP, CHOP. BUZZZZZZZZZZ...
Lukas looked in the mirror and said "I look cool, huh mom."
You bet handome!

Teddy Bear Clinic

On Friday my sister and her hubby finally let us watch their kiddos! We had a cool sleepover and I think that Spencer did FANTASTIC handling 4 kids. (Christina and Arik got to run away, Friday was there anniversary, HAPPY 5th!). Anyway we had fun and then Saturday morning we had a soccer game in the rain (our little monsters were NOT interested!). Then we got to go to the Teddy Bear clinic at the Hospital. It is Portneuf's huge PR event annually and the kids LOVED it! You bring your favorite stuffed animal for a "check up" or cause they are "sick" and learn about different things that might happen at the hospital.

First we stood in line for Admissions....Brookelyn brought her pony, Pinkie. Lukas brought Mr. Turtle. MaKynzee brought Hippo (duh) and Kira brought her doggy, Hammy.

In line we had clowns that made balloons so the kids would be entertained. Christina's girls HATED the clowns, too scary. I can understand that (old men in make up, LOL). Lukas and MaKynzee did ok and let me take picture.

Then we had the animals go for a hearing check up...
Kynzee wouldn't let go of Hippo for nothin' (but only in the beginning)

Then we went for "Surgery" and the kids got their blood pressures taken.

Lukas was really into the whole blood pressure thing...And MaKynzee loved the O2 sat monitor that peeped her heart rate.

Lukas the Surgeon! The animals got hats and masks and the kids too. Luaks was the only one I really got a shot of. I love this picture...there is something about his eyes. He was having fun. Mr. Turtle is there in the background on the surgical bed. Christina noticed a whole in Mr. Turtle's throat so I wonder if they did an emergency trach when I wasn't looking, haha.

After surgery we got the animals weighed and measured. Then we went and got a cast cause the animals had a "broken ____" (whatever the kids said).

Lukas would NOT let go of Mr. Turtles hand. I think he remembers getting his and wanted to make sure Mr. Turtle was OK. It was soo cute!

This is my favorite, we had them cast Hammy's tail. I thought it was so funny and cute.

Poor Hippo, MaKynzee ran off so the poor fellow was all alone. When we handed her Hippo, she was like "What happened?"
The whole thing was amazing and lots if fun. The kids learned lots and we had a good time. Thanks to all the VOLUNTEERS!!
