WOW! I look around my house and the clutter is mounting and the clothes are piled high. I sigh and take a look around again and see my husband playing with Lukas and MaKynzee helping me with dinner and I realize...everything is perfect. I look back over the week and see working 4 out of 5 days in the beginning of the week drains me and my kids....
First day home I attempt to clean but shouts of "Mommy play with me?" echo in my ears and I sigh again and find my little people waiting with eyes wide and hearts filled...their mommy is home. I crawl around in tents, get slaughtered in cowboy/ Indians and try my hardest to find a dress up that fits...but the smiles silent my quiet calls of "can't I just clean today!" I find myself making another fort and peering out see breakfast and lunch dishes still on the table...oh well... princess needs her horse and Lukas needs a hero. On and on I play for three days...I think if anyone sees my house they would run...Spencer smiles when he comes home and sees I am tired but the house is still disoriented..."Did you get to play today?"
You see I might not be the best house keeper but I have learned a very hard lesson....the house can wait, the dishes can sit, the laundry can pile high cause my babies don't care if we have to run in our underware...they just know their mommy played. I am NOT trying to toot my own horn! I am just trying to share a special thing I learned...my dishes did get done and we are not in our underware so I still got things done but I made the greatest choice to put it all LAST! So look at your babies wherever they are and think when was the last time you put it "ALL" last and just "played"?

Irish Princess Day- YEAR 3
So still can't seem to get pictures off cameras but here are pictures from my camera. Makynzee's birthday was filled with phone calls, love and FUN. We took her to her favorite place to play (when it's cold)... the library.
Then we took her out for ice cream, then we had lunch, her favorite mac and cheese and we made it green. (I know ice cream first bad mommy...but hey it WAS her birthday!)
...
...
Then Lukas humored her by playing with her in dress ups...BRAVO BOY!! He is such a good brother!
...
And then I made her a hippo cake.

And then I made her a hippo cake.
We finished off the evening opening presents from our San Antonio gang! It was really nice day. She had fun and when she went to bed asked..."Mom can my birthday be tomorrow and I want a princess cake!" LOL, we LOVE MaKynzee and are so grateful to have this little lucky Irish princess in our home. She brings so much joy and laughter.

Deja VU??!!!!!
That is right...Deja vu! Let me show you....
Well let me show you a picture from a November blog 2008....

Getting Hippo back...then
Getting Hippo back...then
At least now she is excited to get Hippo back and not clinging to him believing that he will leave/ drown and never come back! Yeah Hippo is clean again!!
And TODAY
Yep just like I said in the blog way back in Dec 08, this Bagshaw has 99% Bowen blood. The kid was playing at my sisters and decided he would jump off the stairs (probably 6 up) and try to jump on a giant bean bag. Well he missed. Not only did he miss the bean bag but the next day was Disney on Ice for MaKynzee's birthday, a present from the Jorgensens. He wouldn't walk so we left him at a friends...then Saturday was MaKynzee's birthday party and he just sat on the sides. I knew something was wrong since he wouldn't join in the fun. Sunday I had to carry him everywhere or he crawled and then Monday I took him to the Dr.... Dang this boy!!! He is supposed to start soccer at the end of the month...we'll see!
Anyway as soon as I get pictures I will blog about our fantastic Disney on Ice trip and MaKynzee's party. Both were a BLAST!! Thanks to all for coming!
